Overview

Located in Buena Park, California, Knott’s Soak City Water Park offers a thrilling water adventure experience situated adjacent to Knott’s Theme Park. Guests can enjoy 13 acres of excitement, complete with a 750,000-gallon tidal wave pool; six-story tube and body slides; a lazy river; a three-story beach house; and a hands-on water playground with 200 water guns, sprayers, nozzles and more.

Knott’s Soak City Waterpark kicks off with a splash this summer season! Orange County’s largest waterparkis the perfect family destination to cool off during summer. Last summer Soak Citydebutedtwo brand new water slide towers, Shore Breakand The Wedge. Plus,Soak City has undergone a 2-acre expansion and thematic renovation, which includesnew shaded seating areas, spacious cabanas and a newly remodeled Longboard’s Grill. Shore Breaktowers over seven stories high and offers six different thrilling water slide experiences. Four of the slides will have guests climbing into an exhilarating Aqua Launch chamber which will send riders on a vertical free fall through a series loops and curves. The newest family raft ride, The Wedge, takes up to 6 riders on a thrillingand exhilarating tripnavigating twists and turns and a few surprise drops down the slide tower. Grab your swimming trunks and sunscreen and plan your day at Knott’s Soak City Waterparkbefore summer ends!

How much is parking?
Auto’s are $18 and Buses/RV’s are $23.

If I’m not swimming, do I have to pay?
All guests entering Soak City must pay an admission fee.

Can I bring a cooler or my own food into the park?
Outside food and/or beverages, glass containers, and coolers are restricted from entering Soak City. Small hand-held coolers not exceeding 12"x18" in size will be allowed that contain unopended water bottles or baby food only.

Do you have chairs or lounge chairs?
Chairs and lounge chairs are provided free of charge throughout the park and are available on a first come first served basis.

Can I bring my own floatation device?
Inner tubes are available free of charge at the tube slides, wave pool, and lazy river. The inner tubes must be left at those locations when not in use. If you would like your own personal inner tube, all-day tube rentals are available. Life jackets are available at no charge and are available in sizes from infant to adult. All personal life vests must be Coast Guard approved. No personal float toys are allowed.

What is the water temperature?
The regular water temperature ranges from 74-76 degrees.

What is proper swimwear?
Proper swimwear is required. Swimwear is defined as a one or two piece swimsuit. Pant, denim, thongs, or transparent clothing are not permitted. We reserve the right to determine the appropriateness of swimwear. Diaper dependent guests are required to wear swim diapers or a diaper specifically designed for aquatic use.

What should I remember to bring?
For your protection and comfort, Knott’s Soak City recommends you bring sunscreen, sunglasses, beach towels and sandals. If you forget any one of these items, you can purchase them in our Wipeout Surf Shop inside the park.
